Dear Jacques, I received the band today. I’m absolutely thrilled at how good it looks and fits. It is perfect in every way. I couldn’t be happier. It is a piece of art that compliments the timepiece. Thank you again for catching my measurement error. The width is a perfect fit. This completes one of my Holy Grail watches. If I ever find the other, it will need a strap crafted by you. Thank you!
Hi Jacques. The straps were waiting for me at the hotel when I arrived last night. They are both exquisite pieces of artisan work and I am truly happy with them, even more so my decision to place an order with you. Thank you & kind regards.
In a word - INCREDIBLE! I sincerely can't thank you enough for your hard work, attention to detail, outstanding communication and the overall pleasure it was to go through this process with you. You have made me a VERY happy Speedy owner and a raving fan.
1. Leather Quality:
We only use 'Full Grain’ leather, as this is real leather in it's purest form and not altered in any way, unlike that of sub-standard leathers grades that have been weakened by processes such as sanding, splitting, bonding and correcting.
2. Environmentally Friendly:
The tanning process for 'Vegetable Tanned Leather' is natural and not detrimental to the environment. 90% of the world's leather is produced using highly toxic chromium & other chemical, resulting in a negative impact on the environment and peoples health, especially in 3rd world countries.
3. Skin Allergy Free:
Due to the fact that we use natural Veg-Tanned Leather in our products and strap linings, it is very unlikely that you should develop skin irritations or obtain an allergic reaction, unlike products made from Chrome Tanned Leather that has chemicals & toxic heavy metals that can leak into your skin.
4. Supporting local business:
By purchasing from us, you are keeping a local business alive and directly helping our country's economy (SA Residence). We support local where ever possible.
5. Durability:
We make and design leather goods that should last years and even decades. We believe that whatever you purchase from us should only get better with age and not deteriorate. Connoisseurs of vegetable tanned leathers understand and appreciate leathers that age with a beautiful patina and character. Longevity of our products is possible due to the time-tested traditional leatherwork techniques and the carefully sourced threads, dyes, sealants, and hardware that we use.
6. Personalised service:
You are dealing directly with the artisan who handcrafts the goods and not an Industrial Corporate Manufacturer with an assembly line of scary machines. Your questions and concerns matter to us as we want to give you our very best.
7. Tailored Service for a Custom Fit:
We are all made differently, and therefore a one-size-fits-all’s philosophy is not going to cut it. We feel that a leather article should fit correctly and suite your personal preferences and needs.
8. Premium Solid Hardware:
What would be the point if our leather goods outlasted the hardware? We guarantee no rust or breakages under normal usage conditions. We use either solid Brass or solid 316 Stainless Steel in our buckles, rivets and other metal fittings.
